So, each of us had pretty standard things that our parents would say to us as kids growing up and as my daughter was growing up I used to have to guard against some of them. My dad was great for coming up with some pretty interesting things and some were pretty crude looking back.

Here are a few of the things my parents (dad mostly) would say to me, what about you?

• If you had a brain you would be dangerous....
• Have you always been stupid or were you born that way.....
• Do you want me to hit you (one of my favs...yes please do)
• Do you think money grows on trees

Maybe he really did at night when you were asleep and not looking. That would explain the slow running.
