USC's trying to make the score more respectable going against walk-ons and such.

FYI, the score at one point was 78-39.

EDIT-

UO: 81
USC: 57

Final. USC closed with an 18-3 run and still lost by 24.

Oregon won their 3 tourney games by 19, 18, and 24 points. Not bad.

you'd rather see your team embarrassed than see your team wear jerseys that are a bit ugly but serve a function (more difficult for opponents to hold oden without refs noticing)? i guess you're more concerned with your team's aesthetics than you are about success.

oh, that's right. it's not as though usc has a multi-million dollar deal with nike. my bad. :roll1:

I'd rather lose one game than have two Nike-dictated uni changes (football and basketball).

i guess you're more concerned with your team's aesthetics than you are about success.

Yeah, we have a contract. No, we haven't caved to the Nike mad scientists in both major sports.

your team didn't just lose. they were shellacked. like i stated, i guess you're more concerned about how your team looks than how your team plays. that sorry of a loss one day before the selection committee makes their determination possibly moves your team down to face more difficult opposition.

by the way, if we're going to talk about appearances, let's talk about matthews and his aryan brotherhood. oh, that's right. that has nothing to do with your basketball team's dismantling at the hands of the ducks... just like our team's uniforms have nothing at all to do with a 24-point loss 2,000 miles away.

i guess when you don't have an explanation for and don't want to discuss such a bad loss, you bring up something completely unrelated. :roll1:

I've got no problem with it. Oregon played a hell of a game. When someone goes 11/11 with 7/7 3-pointers, you accept it and move on. Oregon is a good team on a roll. They won every game in the tourney with ease.
