While I was reading today about Wiscy’s minuscule chances of prevailing against us in the Championship Game, I began ruminating over the season-ending loss by Li’l Flex And The Minny Sotans. From a muse unknown came a familiar tune to my head, and the following words to my keyboard:

Oh, no, no, your boat went down into the stream,
Merrily, verily, ferally, scarily,
Bucky eviscerated sank your dream.

Fuck auburn has a good dl, but dbu* quality secondary and the offense is terrible. Plus a coach that is a potato. If they can protect Morgan goofs have a good shot. Or they could roll over and be road kill.

That's how I would expect every conversation with Fleck to go. I'm sure that stuff works for the underrated 2 or 3 star kid like JJ Watt. There are not a lot of JJ Watts out there, though. If I'm a recruit, I want to know how they're going to get me to the next level.....not a bunch of catch phrases and rah rah shit. He's got Urban level motivation tactics on steroids....without whatever else it is that makes Urban elite.

Fleck is the kind of coach who succeeds at lower tier and G5 programs. The rah rah stuff works there, it wouldn’t play with top talent at bigger programs. Minny is his ceiling, and he may get a few years where he may win the B1G west, but he’s worlds away from OSU. I think the score may start close because there are so many new guys starting in 2021, but OSU has mustangs in abundance that Minny can’t keep up with for 4 quarters.

The score will start 0-0. That's pretty dang close.
In all seriousness, I think he gets his team up for big games, and that energy will keep it close and make Buckeyes nervous for 2-3 quarters. But I agree - his team won't be able to keep up. They'll be forced to do something very risky late and it will bite them. Maybe they're down 24-20 on their own 35 as the 4th quarter starts. They'll fake a punt on 4th and 8 and fail to convert. Ohio State scores 4 plays later to go up 31-20. 6 plays after a 3-and-out, and it's 38-20. Minnesota will score a field goal on their next drive and lose 45-23. It'll look like another day in the park, but we'll be shitting bricks for 3 quarters. (Just my IMO)

Just sayin': Just 2 more wins and they tie Free Shoe's record of 11 consecutive bowl wins. Of course just before those 9 consecutive wins the Gophers had lost 7 consecutive bowl games in a row.....:lol:
