Rivals just put out their top 300. They list Miami(FL) as having 31 commits. How is that possible?

Lee did not graduate in December like he was supposed to.
He supposedly graduated early Januay after taking his final class in the Winter intersession.
I haven't been able to find the specific rule though.
Only articles stating # of early enrollees can not exceed graduates in December.
If December is the absolute cutoff date, then Lee not graduating leaves us short a spot for an early enrolee.
If the date is just prior to spring semester, then Lee graduating a month late is not to blame.

A lot of these athletes can't afford to go to college without these athletic scholarships. So they sign their LOI with the intent that when they arrive on campus, they can attend both practice and class assured that their scholarship is intact. Yes the scholarship is only good for one year, but most intend on staying to get at least the three years of education at one school.
When players switch schools they get ridiculed (Tate Forcier). When teams switch players, people should be outraged.

You realize he had the rug pulled out from under him right? Since it was at the 11th hour instead of the 12th....it's OK to you?Ok, but this kid never signed with LSU.
The kid had choices.
A. Enroll at LSU in spring, but foot bill for 1st semester.
B. Wait until Fall to enroll at LSU on full ride scholly
C. Enroll else where in Spring on full ride.
This kid decided to enroll else where.
I understand and respect his choice.
If my understanding of the situation is correct, he could have enrolled here had Lee graduated when he was expected to do so.
I see nothing wrong with it so long as you give the kid full disclosure with timely notice.*Beaver;2087896; said:What's even worse is this surprise request worked last year, with a player paying his own way

Reason two, here is what Miller's coach says:

I do not see that here.
*If he wants to be a part of LSU on his own dime, more power to him.
?Coach Saban just said I?m the 26th commitment. I would be the 26th signee. I guess he went and picked up somebody else. He said I make 26 and they only get 25. They talked about bringing me in next January.? [Note: Alabama has 27 commitments]
Oh, son...?I?m going to go ahead and stick with Alabama. I mean, I?m committed to them. They committed to me. They want me. I know they want me because that?s what they are telling me. If they didn?t want me, they wouldn?t let me keep my scholarship..."
