OSU Women's Basketball Recruiting/Projections/General Discussions

Got a four star out of Hungary today. A 6'3" Forward who is tough inside the paint and excels on defense and rebounding . Just what the doctor ordered. Compliments of Eleven Warriors

Thanks. Those two along with the one below should really help bolster the roster. A lot of graduating seniors on this year's team.

OHIO STATE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ADDS CARMEN GRANDE, ITS FIFTH GRAD TRANSFER OF THE OFFSEASON

Ohio State could now make an entire starting lineup of graduate transfer players as the Buckeyes added their fifth of this offseason in former Ball State point guard Carmen Grande.

Grande, originally from Madrid, Spain, is one of the top facilitators in the country, averaging nearly a double-double with points and assists. Last season, she finished second in the country with 9.2 assists per game and averaged 11.5 points per game.

This is one more addition to a massive 2018 recruiting class that now features five graduate transfer and four incoming first-year players.

The graduate transfers include Najah Queenland from Pacific and Carly Santoro from Bowling Green, Adreana Miller from LaSalle, Ashanti Abshaw from Cleveland State, and now Grande.

The freshman class is the largest the team has signed since 2014. It features two international players – four-star post player Dorka Juhasz from Hungary and four-star forward Aixa Wone of Spain – as well as four-star guard Jannai Crooms and three-star forward Aaliyah Patty.

You can bet he is on it, and just maybe he has a better chance now that father Mitchell is gone...

I am pretty surprised at how good the 2019 class already is with how much this staff has underachieved so far in the Tournament with all the talent they had brought in the past several years.

Really hope McGuff and his assistants step up in their teaching of certain crucial aspects of the game, or we're going to continue to see these women stars get wasted.
