ePKOoTms that is also assuming those guys arn't kicked off the team by this year or nxt. Isn't Bowman off the team. I could be wrong, it's kind of hard to keep track off all the suspensions and arrest you guys have had recently. Your program is a mess.
Well it must not be that hard to keep track off because Bowman is the only one. We are THREE DEEP ACROSS THE BOARD AT LB WITH 4* LBs PERIOD!
Bell wouldn't start as a freshman at tOSU? Why not...Your starting LBs in '08 are gone after the season is over, you know it and I know it so why your pretending you rotate LBs every other series is beyond my comprehension. Sabino will probably rack up 12 tackles all year long while not redshirting and you'll be proud that a 5* LB blew up some walk-on that plays for Youngstown State or Troy...that is awesome BRAH! [Okay...now I'm shittalkin]
I'm sure they will see ST play which is likely needed to kick it up a notch on STs but in any game that matters JL, Freeman and Terry are going to be on the field for 95% of the snaps if the game matters. I think the more appropriate question is how often will your converted LBs turned DEs get blown off the ball on 2nd or 3rd down when teams run draws right at them.
It is kind of hard for me to remember the LBs names when you got a JUCO starting at LB but want to claim LB U...LMFAO, certainly doesn't work like that. Terry? Constantly injured. Freeman...He wouldn't start in this HYPOTHETICAL situation because JL would certainly start, Lee & Colasanti would likely flank JL...we'll see who has the better respective senior season between Lee & JL for real though in '08 and that should be interesting. I thin Lee had 138 tackles last year.
I am well aware that stars mean nothing, but when crap is thrown around such as 'our 2nd and 3rd string would start for them' it is clearly an effective way to illustrate depth. I'm not suggesting you would trade your LBs for Penn State's, or that I would want tOSU's LBs instead of the ones we have but if you just look at LBs brought in we rival anyone.
It is also worth pointing out that we aren't switching 2 or 3 to DE or trying to work any of them in at FB - they are LBs period. You are deeper at S & DB but we have Nick Sukay who was a 4* safety, Chaz Powell who was a 4* safety and both have 4 more years of eligibility respectively.
#1 CB from '06 in Junior AJ Wallace. 4* Senior ATH Lydell Sargaent opposite AJ Wallace. 4* freshman S/DB D'Anton Lynn.
The bottom line is Penn State's depth at LB and on the DL rivals tOSU so that bullshit talk about tOSU being so far ahead of Penn State and the rest of the Big 10 or however it was worded is false. Might want to take a look at the respective DL & LB depth and compare - your far from way ahead. Secondary you are.
