OSU Men's Basketball Recruiting/Projections/General Discussions

I read that he’s a grad transfer. Why is it unlikely the he would have immediate eligibility?
There are some conflicting reports. He has only been at Bucknell for 3 years. I guess if he somehow graduates early this Spring or Summer he could be a grad transfer, but I don't think that will be the case. Jimmy is a good solid add to the team - if he were eligible this upcoming season, he would be a great add.

47% from 3Land last year..sounds good but why was his pt cut in half from 2018 to 2019?
47% from three sounds good... until you find out he attempted only 13 shots. his career average was 25% (19/77) until last season.

if we get gage, then i think his addition would be purely for depth and as a fail-safe in case walker or washington miss games. otherwise, i don't see gage getting many minutes at the point, even over washington. i'm not discounting the value of getting a player like gage, though. if kaleb is gone, then we'll have a "free" scholarship for next season that might as well be filled. and this is an addition that would not upset the apple cart of current backcourt players expecting or fighting for valuable minutes.

Justin Kier is a high-major target this spring
Appearing in just nine games last season due to a foot injury, Justin Kier is hoping to complete his college career on a strong note. The George Mason senior entered his name into the Transfer Portal on Wednesday and has already become a heavily drawn heavy interest from a number of high-major programs.

A 6-foot-4 scoring guard from the Harrisonburg, Virginia area, Kier has kept his options open regarding where he will spend his graduate-transfer season in which he could potentially return to the Atlantic 10 program. However, Arkansas, Butler, DePaul, Georgia Tech, Loyola Chicago, Ohio State, Tulane, Wake Forest and Washington State are among those that have already expressed interest in him within the past 24 hours.
