Once upon a time used "Muck_Fichigan" on the first few Buckeye message boards.

Eventually decided it was a bit over the top to be taken seriously so just shortened it. I could always say it was short for Muckraker which also fits my smart ass nature.

When I was a mod on the O-Zone I kept Muck for the admin stuff and created Scarlet_Lutefisk for general posting (keeping work & play seperate as it were). Scarlet_Lutefisk - because I was engaged to a Swede at the time and had just returned to the States after spending the holidays in Sweden. Saw far too much lutefisk during that time. The prefix should be self explanatory --- "....and Gray" as well as "...and Gold" (the official USMC colors).

When I graduated high school in 1982, I received a letter via USPS that had a Texas postmark. Now I didn't know anyone living in Texas and to the best of my knowledge, I still don't know anyone living in Texas. In any event, the letter was from a ranch in Texas called High Lonesome. The letter said that sometime in the early part of the 21st century I would find on the Planet a place for a Buckeye and that I would be called buckiprof.

Didn't make any sense to me in 1982 and still doesn't in 2008.
