Really looking forward to this game. I will probably watch it on mute though because 3/4ths of the coverage will be about the investigation.

As an Oregonian who has been to many a Reser tailgate and enjoyed many a Buckeye game at a friends Beaver bar...I just hope it isn't too bloody (too bad it isn't the Ducks). The Buckeyes already skullfucked the Beavs by sending Gary Anderson fleeing to Corvallis. That went well. I have friends travelling to the Shoe for this and--they're Beavers--they have no expectations but to have a great time and see the Beavs get destroyed in another great venue. Kind of a Beav thing. They will bring good beer and seek out good beer. Unless it is the Civil War they are one of the more lovable power 5 fan bases. It's going to be a rough career start for Jonathan Smith...maybe ok to send him back more or less in one piece? At the end of the day...

I'm going to do my part in being a welcoming host. The Zach Smith bullshit has put a damper on my excitement, but as it gets closer to kickoff.......keep any hype videos away from me or I'll be putting holes in walls.

On point. Lots of Beavers friends, and there's no high expectations any more except in baseball.
