On the other Jonathan Stewart thread, someone posted JT's email, so I emailed him with a simple message stating "please offer Jonathan Stewart from WA!!" in the title and stated "he will revive our run game."

I don't know how in the he!! JT has time to answer his emails but he actually replied. Here's the kicker: in regards to my plea to offer Stewart, he stated "We have ...he would certainly help ...jim t"

WTF? How in the he!! do none of the insiders/rivals show Snoop w/ an offer but JT tells me directly that we have. Rivals/Insiders need to do a better job getting correct info. Trust me this is JT himself as it showed his email account as being @ ath.ohio-state.edu. People know that I've been posting for over 3 years and have no reason to lie about this.

Nice that he replied, but this is what I am talking about the man being spread so damn thin. Please, Coach, relinquish control of some things to staffers, such as offensive coordinator responsibilities.

Glad to hear he has been offered. I can already see him running off the left side with Boone at LT and Sims at LG.

youre right....he just cant be a successful coach while he is calling plays, recruiting, being the head coach....AND answering emails :roll1:

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I never have said nor ever will say JT is not a successful coach. His numerous NC's speak for themselves. All I am saying is the man is doing a whole hell of a lot. This team needs lots of attention right now, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Whoever is in charge of that side should be focused on that and that alone.

I thought that coaches weren't allowed to comment on recruits. Period. Until after signing day. Why would JT tell OSU Rob and not anyone else?

I find this hard to believe, but it's great news if it's true.

apparently, (i didn't know this either) coaches can say whether or not they offered a recruit. they cannot speak on a recruits academic performance, amoung other things probably.

I am not sure of the exact rule, but i think that it only applies to the media, press conferences, ect.

AG got in a little trouble for saying something about zwick before signing day 3 years ago.

JT can say things to his wife, friends, golfing buddies, other recruits, OSU fans he talks with, and flies on the wall.

Jonathon is right now the No 1 rated RB and the No. 3 overall player in the country on ESPN.com has indicated to me early that Miami is his dream school but has since taken hard looks at Tenn, Nebraska, Wash State, Oregon and Washington. Right now he says there is no clear cut leader and won't decide until he visits at least four schools.

Stewart confirms that he now has a tOSU offer (along with a new one from Nebraska).

a few other tidbits
* he debunked a rumor that he had committed to WSU (although he has his official there Oct. 30)
* he debunked a rumor that Miami, Fl had been in touch (he says they have not called)

No mention of tOSU beyond the offer news.

And you still believe what Lemming says? take everything with a grain of salt coming from his articles and remember he loves telling recruits where not to go. And one of them is Ohio State.

Despite what some "experts" may say, If Jonathan looks at the current state of affairs at Ohio State and then looks at the incoming Offensive linemen and see the opportunities he'll have to start behind them, and then too top it off to see the way Ohio State features the RunningBacks as the stars of the offense in this type of offensive gameplan. Well then he has got to be excited to be considered to play on the same field as Archie Griffen, Eddie George, Tim Spencer, Keith Byars and countless more who shined as Runningbacks at The Ohio State University ...
