I'm beginning to think Oregon can't win on the big stage. :paranoid:

false...you have to win 3 BCS games in a row, including a national title, before you are dubbed as unable to win on the big stage. Also, beating top 10 opponents in your confrence don't count as big stage games.

You left out National Coach of the Year, Most BCS Wins in BCS era, and Most Top 5 Finishes in last 10 years. Those are all things that prove one can't win on the big stage.

I don't get the love for the Ducks year after year. People say we are fat and slow but we beat them with solid line play last year, and last night their O-line got beat up again. The fast tempo, 2 pt conversions, and Madden plays can only go so far.

I doubt you can win a national title without winning in the trenches.

(But I do respect Chip Kelly and their program)

That looked unbelievably stupid. It's an eyesore and a distraction. Once again, nothing screams "big time" like gimmicky bull[Mark May].

It could be worse. They could have painted everything fluorescent blue like some school's (who I won't mention) football field.

It is ugly as Hell. I did immediately get the visual reference to their 1939 NCAA Championship team, though. That team beat tOSU in the first-ever NCAA final, and was nicknamed the 'Tall Firs".

And no, I didn't attend that NCAA final in Evanston, IL - but thanks for asking.

Did you hear the game on the radio by any chance?

I'm not very outdoorsy and other than hiking in national parks on vacation, I've never spent much time in the Pacific Northwest.

Can anyone comment on violent assualt season opens in Eugene, Oregon? I know its become tradition for Oregon football players to be full participants in this activity.
