Oregon Ducks (aka U of Nike)

Needs to get the fuck over himself.

Initially committed to Cal in the summer, Sagapolutele flipped his pledge to Oregon during the early signing period and enrolled at the school last month.

"I just felt that I wasn't a main priority [at Oregon]," Sagapolutele told ESPN. "Of course there's going to be competition anywhere I go. But I'm just looking at other QB rooms and the best place for me to go get on the field early."

I don't know where else to put this, but Oregon really showed some class in the Rose Bowl defeat. Specifically, Tez Johnson waited patiently for interviews to conclude to congratulate Day and Howard, and wish them luck in winning it all. All the respect in the world for that kid and will root for him in every aspect of life. We see the nasty aspects of sports all too often, but we need need to smile about kids like Tez that make the sport great.

Edit: Meant to add that Lanning really showed a lot of class in giving us credit and making zero excuses over the loss. I know we will have the inclination to not like him because of the recruiting wars and Phil Knight money, but he is an excellent young coach that seems to have a lot of integrity and poise. Most young coaches are so arrogant or angry that they cannot conduct themselves like Lanning did in a game like this one. Lanning has a bright future ahead of him.

He is pretty likeable now that we kicked his ass
