Oregon called the cops on Pac-12 Network camera crew

College football programs can be awful secretive at times, especially when it comes to practice footage. This summer a number of programs have continued to tell members of the media they are not allowed to film segments of practices, which is standard operating procedure just about everywhere. Some have even gone so far as to say nothing observed in practice may be reported through corresponding outlets. That may be a tad extreme, but it is a concession that sometimes must be made in order to keep those media credentials. The Pac-12 Network may not be in danger of losing press access to the Oregon Ducks, but there may be a restraining order needed.

In a weekly college football notebook posted by Dennis Dodd of CBSSports.com on Saturday morning, Dodd reports Oregon resorted to calling the police to prevent Pac-12 Network personnel from capturing practice footage from a distance. Pac-12 Network analyst Curtis Conway reportedly claimed he and his camera crew were going up some stairs to reach a production truck. When confronted by a security officer, some sort of standoff ensued. This led to multiple officers arriving on the scene.

Shouldn't they be able to plug just about anyone into that scheme and get production?
I mean, if I was an Oregon fan I'd be a lot more worried about that defense... I guess they've never had one to know the difference in Eugene.
Duck homers like to think that but just go back to when they started running the spread--they were ranked #2 and rolling behind Dennis Dixon. Then Dixon tore his ACL and the backup was Ryan Leaf's little brother. Bye-bye Ducks.

Lockie has no arm. Load the box and defend the read option and bubble screen and all the tempo in the world won't put points on the board.
