Oregon at tOSU, Sep 11th, Noon ET on Fox

Week 1 is week 1, but Oregon's ineffective offensive line stood out to me in Week 1. Fresno State is about a #60 ranked team, not exactly a powerhouse, but their defensive line was doing very well against Oregon. The focus has been on the unimpressive quarterback play, but Brown didn't have much time all day. On defense, Thibodeaux surely was the real deal, and it was a different team without him. The secondary is young and inexperienced, and it showed. Brown, the QB, could be effective in the option. Thibodeaux did not look to be that seriously injured when he came back in heavily taped just before the half. I believe he will be a starter this week.

Most likely a gametime decision for Thibodeaux but they probably already know if he's playing or not. Got rolled up on but it wasnt the worst one Ive seen. I'd rather he play, we need to beat everyone's best shot at us if we're going to get another shot at Bama.

Think Oregon was missing a couple of DBs this past week, so expect a little tighter coverage than what was shown against Fresno.
Yeah Felony criminal charges tend to do that... doubt they'll be playing this week too.

If he doesn't play then that's great. If he does play then we need to run right at him early and often. If he was in a walking boot in street clothes I highly doubt he's going to be strong enough to handle our 6'6 325lb tackles. He's already not the biggest guy anyways.

Oregon also had a LB go out with a knee injury too. So unfortunately (fortunate for us) we might be going against a defense down a player at every level of their defense. IMO, Oregon without #5 is worse up front than Minnesota, better at LB than Minnesota and about the same in the secondary.

Biggest difference is I don't think Oregon has the OL that Minnesota had so they won't be able to control the time of possession as great. Our offense should get more than 44 snaps this time which I don't know what a defense does with that.
