It's his second game and against a pretty good team. We can't expect every freshman QB to be a Heisman contender

I get it. You're right. I'm holding him to a high standard. But that's also b/c playing QB in this offense is a pretty cozy position. He was barely pressured and has guys open all game. And he was high with his passes all game. And seemingly little plays like the 3rd down play on the 1st drive where he missed a wide open JSN for the 1st down can come back to haunt you.

That was probably the best game neutral observers will see all day. One score game coming down to the end between 2 of the best.
2016 Clemson is the only time I've felt embarrassed for this team.

Id say that getting to play Tulsa and Akron is what we need to get our defense lined back up.

If they use those games to do something other than only run man and get stacked up and gashed on the left side, sure. How likely everyone thinks that is, well...I won't be placing any bets on that.
