There's some stat floating around the internet where Jordan missed like 60%+ of his quarter ending shots. That includes game winners, playoffs, etc. He just hit a lot of huge shots in the playoffs.

I voted for Sylvester because I couldn't find Ron Lewis.

Some laugh at the idea of LBJ being on the list...But one shot, does it mean you need 1 point, 2 point, or 3 points...

Obviously if you need a 3 pointer, you don't want a guy like Jordan or LBJ as they are not great 3 point shooters...Yeah they could get a look, but they are not the ones that you want taking that shot...Well the Cavs do because he is the only one that can get that look...Give me a guy like Kobe if we are talking 3 pointer...

But if LBJ is on a different team and all you need a bucket, in a tie game, and other guys are going to draw attention, I am taking LBJ 1 on 1 against anyone...He is stronger, can get to the rack can score it in traffic and has knack for getting fouled...

Jordan if we are talking about a midrange jump shot, fade away type that he hit so many of in his career...

If we are just talking all around clutch player in any situation, you are probably going to go with Jordan as he is the guy that did it the most over his career, but we are just talking one shot, what else are we talking about, team members, game, score, etc..

Jimmy Chitwood: The stuff fictional legends are made of. Man that's a great movie...

For me it would depend on what type of shot was needed. Jordan is the greatest player of all time but not the best shooter... I'd be just as confident with the ball in Reggie Miller or Larry Bird's hands... all three had ice running through their veins.

Well, West and Kareem are almost old enough to be my grandparents, and Chitwood is still a teenager last I saw. So, the logical choice has to be Jordan, even though he's what, 45 now? :wink2:

I think the first two lines of Craig Ehlo's wikipedia page should settle this debate...even in retirement, Jordan still spoiling things for him:

Joel Craig Ehlo, referred to as just Craig Ehlo (born October 11, 1961, in Lubbock, Texas), is a retired American National Basketball Association player. Ehlo was also a frequent "victim" of Michael Jordan throughout his career.
