Is anybody thinking twice now about the Canadian's chances of winning the whole thing now?

The US is running roughshod over Finland in the midst of a goalie meltdown just like Canada did over Russia. The US beat Canada head-to-head and had a better showing (twice) against their toughest common opponent (Switzerland) I still like the Americans' chances on Sunday.

6-0 now. Hear that horn, Canadians? That's a warning.

I'll believe that we beat Canada twice when I see it. Canada is firing on all cylinders right now, and them at all cylinders > us at all cylinders. Even though we look ridiculously good right now.

Going to be a hell of a game if both teams play at this level. But I still can't bet against Canada. We beat Canada with Brodeur, we'll see Luongo.

what time does the puck drop on sunday? nbc's page states that the game is from 3 to 6. the reason i ask is because purdue faces michigan state at 4, which is horrible timing. i hope the hockey games starts at 3.

well, it is the nbc website that lists the game as starting at 3 and ending at 6. the span is an hour too long. i hope it's 3, but i can see a long pregame, which means the game starts closer to 4.

It'll start at 3. The extra time is probably for the medal ceremony and whatnot.
