No, for sure he is talented. That part it is easy. It is just hard to predict when an guard will be put at tackle and vice versa. I am glad we have great coaches and great players.

Feel you there. Wyatt is incredibly talented but no way I ever thought he would see a look at tackle. Then again, we have 6'4 Jamarco Jones at LT, then a 6'7 Michael Jordan playing LG beside him, so who knows I guess. And a 6'8 Pridgeon at guard apparently. As for Wyatt, I expect that he is so talented that the staff will try to get him in the two-deep regardless, so maybe I should not be surprised here.

Remember, we don't use a traditional passing attack and the Run option that Wilson thrives on is even less of a true passing attack. Having the biguns in the middle where they can get to the next level and crush LBs gives me warm and fuzzies. Jamarco has been doing an excellent job at LT so we just need that RT to be top notch and sky is the limit

WYATT DAVIS ON THE WAY?
Both Demetrius Knox and Malcolm Pridgeon, Ohio State’s starting guards, have had their struggles this season, which has led to questions of whether Brady Taylor or Branden Bowen would be healthy enough to push them for their starting spots at some point. That hasn't happened yet, though, since both of them remain hurt. On Wednesday, Meyer said they’re not ready to play in games, but are close to returning.
Instead of Bowen or Taylor, a different lineman has made a push for playing time: Wyatt Davis, a redshirt freshman who hasn’t played an offensive snap since the fourth week of the season.
“The one I'm really impressed with is Wyatt Davis,” Meyer said.
He said that in response to a question about possible personnel changes on the offensive line. Meyer also said Davis is “close” and the “next one in.”
While it’s expected that both Pridgeon and Knox will remain starters on Saturday, it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if Davis got reps with the first-team offense. He’s a former five-star recruit and was the top-ranked guard in the nation in the 2017 recruiting cycle. He has ample talent, so the coaching staff might want to see what he can do, given the experience.

The head coach said the offensive lineman is “going to have a fine career” at Ohio State and considers him one of the most-improved players on the roster.
“He did play well, we are hoping to get more involved,” Meyer said. “It’s hard to break up when you have five guys playing together, but he’s the next guy in and he played well in the game on Saturday and deserves more time.”
Meyer also highlighted the fact that all five offensive lineman were graded champion after Ohio State’s five-point win against the Cornhuskers. The Buckeyes recorded 229 rushing yards, the most the team has scored since the Sept. 1 opener against Oregon State, and scored three rushing touchdowns.

This news could potentially be a game changer to the offense taking the next step in getting more balance. He was easily the most talented OL to commit to OSU in his class. Glad to see him finally starting to put everything together.
