National signing day
Michigan man now the Buckeyes' guy

It doesn't happen often that a Michiganian heads to that school down South to play football.
But when Reid Fragel, a 6-foot-7, 260-pound tight end from Grosse Pointe South, visited Ohio State the first time, he knew he had found the right fit. Fragel committed early to the Buckeyes and planned to fax his signed letter of intent this morning, the first day of the college football signing period.
His final decision came down to Michigan State and Ohio State -- Michigan, he said, did not make an offer. And because the Michigan and Michigan State ties are deep in southeast Michigan, Fragel has taken his share of verbal hits, mostly from Wolverines fans, for leaving the state to attend OSU.
"That was expected from my decision from the get-go," Fragel said, matter-of-factly. "There have been a couple of kids at school that have given me a lot of flak.
"There's been some bad stuff said. I've heard there's some stuff on the Internet and that they've been pretty ruthless. But if they don't get what they want, they whine and cry just to feel better. It's just going to hurt them the next four years. I use it more as motivation. They're feeding the fire a little bit."
