OL Michael Brewster (Official Thread)

EDGEWATER 40, APOPKA 32

"We hurt them with the pass, and they had to respect that," Edgewater offensive lineman Michael Brewster said. "We have a double threat now."

Orlando Sentinel

OS Top Six Central Florida HS

There is also an imbeded video that I was unable to link. It is titled "Main Event: Edgewater at Apopka"

Kind of weird that Shugarts and Brewster beat teams with scUM helmet layout in the same week!

Upcoming GAME: Edgewater (3-1) at Timber Creek (2-2), 7:30
WHERE: Timber Creek High School (1001 Avalon Park Blvd., Orlando)
Buzz: Edgewater hopes to continue its county dominance against a solid Timber Creek team. Cincinnati commit Quincy Quetant is hard to stop for the Wolves.

Not weird my friend, destiny!

I was almost getting teary eyed when he was describing his commitment. Its a wonderful time to be a Buckeye, but when isnt?

I have not read this entire thread so if this question has been asked and answered please ignore or delete.

I was curious to know of those who have watched video of O'Dowd and Brewster how you would compare them at this point in their playing careers. Taking Kris back one year.

I think Brewster is clearly better. O'Dowd was/is a pure interior lineman, while Brewster has the technique and athletic position to play any position on the line and excell at it.

I think O'Dowd is ahead of the other linemen that we're recruiting(though Adams would definitely have something to say about that), but is just behind Brewster.

Brewster's tape is some of the best tape I've ever seen for an O-lineman.

Like Napoleon said Brewster is better...

I hate using cliche' like best ever, best in past 10 years etc...But besides Andre Smith(T Alabama) This is probably the best o-lineman film that I personally have ever seen...

This is not taking anything away from O'Dowd who is a very good lineman, but Brewsters film is just plain crazy good...

Making of the Brew Crew

We touched on this earlier but I don't remember coming to a conclusion. Brewster was talking about some of the Brew Crew's misses and mentioned Zordich and McCarthy, but also brought up someone he wouldn't name that really ticked him off because they lied to him. Out of pure curiosity, who is he talking about? I may be totally missing something but I'm not positive about who it is.
