Anyone think Coach Ginn is going to have to alter his no-early-commitments policy with Hall and Newsome this year? The '09 class could be just about full up by the end of the month at this rate.

No, the spots will be held for Glenville boys, like always. He might choose to shift his approach (doubtful), but certainly will not be forced to do so.

From O&B News...talks about his track season and talks about his offer sheet. Top 3 (in order) are Ohio State, Illinois and USC. Talks about coaches from Illinois, OSU and Cincinnati stopping by his school. Talksa bout what he is looking for and says early playing time is the biggest factor.

I have always thought that Marcus Hall is all about tOSU. But comments like early playing time being a big factor starts to worry be a little bit. I don't see that happening at either tOSU or USC......so do we consider Illinois as being a very serious contender now?

If Fellows sticks with Illinois, maybe...but I would say Hall is about as sure of a bet as you can have to be a Buck'.

I agree. I was kidding about the star comment, but I agree Glenville and TG Sr. advocate playing the whole recruiting process out. I thought the process might be in transformation though because of what happened with Cordale Scott, and I'm not the only one who has speculated this. All that said, I'm pretty confident about Hall becoming a Buckeye.

From Warchant...in addition to his top 3 he is also looking at Michigan, West Virginia, Minnesota, Alabama, Florida State and Miami. Wants to take some visits but also says he won't hesitate to commit if it feels right.
