OL Marcus Hall (The Bird Man of Ann Arbor)

I love passion in The Game but this was immaturity. I was as pissed of as anyone when the fight happened but Hall was out of control. Hell, it took me until to halftime to clam down. But Marcus is a senior leader and his ejection could have seriously cost us the game. I honestly would not disagree if he isn't allowed to play next week. There just is no room for that...I know it was complete bullshit from *ichigan players but you gotta keep it together Marcus.

Easy to judge sitting at home as a fan.

Marcus Hall is a 22 year old kid that has grown up in Ohio and dedicated his entire blood, sweat, tears, and body to this rivalry. He knows the hatred for TTUN more than any of us can pretend to. He has put his body on the line 4 years in a row for the Buckeyes against _ichigan. I can't even begin to judge him or his actions in such a passionate game. We all have been in heated situations where you choose your action, stick with it, and ask no one to judge you.
I totally understand what he did I just don't like it. He lost his composure..that's it. I come from a time when we didn't put qualifiers and excuses on stupid behavior.

this all started when it was reported before the game that dontre was getting into it with other Michigan players....if you go back to some of the tweets by 11warrior beat writers it will be on their twitter timeline...if i am correct, this was dontre's first kick off he was able to return...so as soon as hes tackled he gets ambushed by possibly some of the same players he was talking trash to pre-game (i could go back and look at who he was talking trash too and then look at the special teams michigan had out there to put 2 and 2 together but i dont care that much)...so when this whole thing goes down Marcus and some of the other offensive players are heading out as stated in previous posts....all we see is Marcus throwing the punch at the michigan player off camera...what we do not see is everything that happened before....did someone punch him? did someone go after him? no idea and i havent seen anything to support it happened...its never a good idea to punch a guy with a helmet so for that I think he is in the wrong along with Dontre...but the flipping off the Michigan crowd? I think it was awesome and was what everyone that loves ohio state that actually cares about this rivalry would love to do...i would love to be able to go out and flip off 110,000 michgian fans...it would be one thing that you could take off my bucket list...should he have done that tho? probably not but I love his passion and you see he "gets" this rivalry and game...this is not a game, its war like all these youtube videos say that we have been watching for the past month...if im in a war i want 82 Marcus Halls with me

Go back further in the players' and coaches timelines. It started in the morning when they arrived at the stadium and found the UM staff decided to play mind games with them by locking them out of the stadium. So they were standing around outside amongst Michigan passer-bys that were shouting 'Fuck you!' and flipping the players the bird for a half-hour or however long it was. The fans behind the OSU bench were also especially nasty from what I read last night.

Go back further still and you have Carr and Co. dealing with drug sniffing dogs. This is the stuff that makes the wins so sweet and the losses so bitter.

As for Hall, I try to separate the person and the actions. I support Hall. But they are all kids and they are all dealing with emotions and violence.
There are expectations for how they deal with those emotions and that violence. What he did fell short. It provided an image for all the OSU haters to rally around (not that they needed one). Explainable (there are reasons I did what I did) is not excusable (we wont hold you accountable for what you did). This country is going to hell for its inability to make that distinction. But once he has been made accountable he is on the other side and we move on.

Meyer has been quoted as saying "I'll take care of it." I would not want to be on the receiving end of that statement. I only hope it is enough. We need all hands on deck for the MSU D.

He gave the finger to the crowd. Honestly, folks, it is just a finger. I gave the finger to the TV about 50 times yesterday, and nobody better suggest I not be able to sit my fat ass on the couch and eat nachos during the B1G championship game next week. FUCK MICHIGAN.

So you watched about an hour of college game day too?

Elliott told a reporter that he had never been flipped off so many times in his life and he comes from St. Louis.

Saying that if I were Marcus I would probably write a letter of "apology" just to protect myself from being suspended further by the ass holes in the Big Ten office.

As Terna's creation clearly shows Hall was only leading cheers.
