OL Marcus Hall (The Bird Man of Ann Arbor)

Well I think he could definitely be in the two deep his freshman year if he's good enough. We'll probably have Shugarts and Adams starting at tackle and nothing behind them is except Josh Kerr and Andy Miller. Well Browning and a couple other guys can play tackle but they are really guards. Hall would be our only other pure tackle on the roster in 2009 besides JB, Mike, and the two undersized depth guys in Kerr and Miller.

While I think Marcus has some great potential, he will not be polished enough to start for any major D1 team right off the bat. Marcus has a chance to come in here, redshirt a year, then take over for Mike Adams who is probably a three year player. Being a starting left tackle after a couple years of conditioning and learning the system for the Ohio State Buckeyes doesn't get any better.

From O&B News...talks about the scrimmage against Mooney...says he favors Ohio State, LSU and Michigan but that changes day to day. Also looking at Illinois and Penn State and talks about hanging out with Cordale when he goes to Illinois for a visit.

ESPN - Wisconsin looks outside its state borders - Football Recruiting

The top prospect from the state of Ohio that has yet to select a college is Cleveland Glenville offensive lineman Marcus Hall. Hall plans to take at least some of his official visits before he selects a college, but don't be surprised if his decision ultimately comes down to either Ohio State or Illinois. Those two and Michigan are Hall's current top three choices, ahead of Miami and LSU.

Everyone take a breath...

I have no idea where Marcus is going to end up but I think a lot of this is an act. That's the feeling I am getting...but even if it isn't, if Marcus goes elsewhere that just means the staff has that much more PT to sell to Seantrel Henderson.

Remember, no recruit is a "must get"...
