Anyone watch his tape who wouldn't mind giving an evaluation?
Agreed. The competition for the final two starting spots will be between an All-B1G player, a former #1 overall OT, a 5th year guy who played very well in the Rose Bowl, and a 5th year guy who was having an All Conference type of year before going down with an injury two years ago.Seriously, below. Jonah is an enormous addition, likely will be a critical piece in anchoring our OL next year and gives us great flexibility. I could go on and on with the possibilities, but now you would look at Bowen on the outside at tackle now with Jackson in the interior if need be. I feel really good about the best 5 starting now, whoever that is. I think Jonah Jackson will be one of them though. Welcome aboard!
Nice cut-up of Rutgers OL vs the Wolverines. You can see how athletic Jonah is on the first or second play.
I don't think it can be overstated how important adding him was. Before adding him there were pretty big question marks at both LG & C. Now you only have 1 position where there is a question mark, and there are some good options to fill it.
Two things jump out when I watched this.
1) Rut football is bad.
2) He's probably responsible for 40% of their offensive production.
