Film.

My take: Physically impressive at 6-foot-7 but tends to play a bit high. Great motor and always keeps his feet active, often finishing blocks all the way until he is laying on top of the defender. Nice first step on run plays, often engaging the defensive player before they have a chance to put a move on. Probably needs a little work on his pass blocking but all the tools are there. Looks like a younger Kirk Barton.

Couldnt agree more. I don't know that I have seen a lineman with feet like his as a sophmore.

Any kid that says their favorite time of the year is winter in the snow is set to come North for college.

Just the opposite for any kid from the south that complains about the cold, they are set to stay in the South...

Hmmm...I wonder why in his last update he says Texas is in his top 3, but in this one they aren't in his top 4?

Still it's looking pretty good for the Buckeyes, but still a long way away.

All I keep hearing is long-shot with Shugarts. With being in his top 4 at this point, loving winter and snow, and having talked somewhat regularly with Adams, Brewster, and Long...

Me thinks he's not quite the long-shot I keep hearing

i'd say it is a long shot in comparison to Brewster and Adams and to a lesser extent Long, it is still very early in the process and these kids will be encouraged by thier parents and even the osu coaching staff to explore all of thier options and think about all of thier options
