It appears comments are just being made here because some fans are mad that an athlete did not compete for their team. Derek is a great guy and a great football player with a bright future. I wish people would be more respective of his decisions

I don't think people would be so harsh on Derek if he wasn't a) a fat f* b) a son of a * c) a user and d) a over rated quasi lousy o-lineman who claimed he'd own us at a 2nd tier ACC school.

Other than that, a quality kid.
