interesting, I figured he might move down a little after the AA game.He moved up from 5th to 4th OL in the scout rankings I believe.
Smith plays guard and there aren't any plays on tape to indicate whether he could play tackle. Mostly a drive blocker on run plays. No pass plays to evaluate. Good pad level blocker, athletic enough to reach and cut, no downfield plays to evaluate. Looks like an Ohio State guard.

<!--ARTICLE BODY TEXT-->Parade magazine All-American Connor Smith of Colerain heads the list of Cincinnati area football seniors who will sign college football letters today, the first day of the national letter of intent signing period.
Smith, a 6-foot-5, 305-pound guard who also was Enquirer/Channel 9 area Player of the Year, will sign with Ohio State. Smith follows in the footsteps of his father, former Buckeyes lineman Joe Smith.
"I've dreamed of playing at Ohio State since I was little," Connor Smith said. "This kind of finalizes the deal."
Smith is among seven Colerain players - most in the area for the second straight year - expected to make binding Division I-A commitments today.
Colerain sent five players to Division I-A off its 2004 Ohio Division I championship team. The 2005 team lost to eventual state champion St. Xavier in the second round of the playoffs.
