If this was the 2nd or 3rd week of the season I'd agree. A week before UM, secrecy is good.

I don't think WyoBuck was saying the secrecy is bad, just unusual...and I agree.

Tressel said he wasn't aloowed to talk about it, but wouldn't have been the first time.

Datish said he wasn't sure what the injury was, but that he was banged up? What?

probably just people being afraid of hippa. saying, "i don't know" is a whole lot easier than trying to figure out what you are and are not allowed to discuss and with whom.

I never understood why they took Alex to IL and didn't let him stay home and "OFF" the knee.

It very much concerns me that he would travel last week but not this week perhaps when he took a light practice on Tuesday it aggravated the knee. All I know is we HAVE to have him on the line and healthy for MichiScum or its going to big trouble for us.

Here's to a week of progress and health for Alex :wink2:

Jim Cordle moving over to play some left tackle has me worried. Its good for Jim but I'm starting to wonder if we aren't going to hear something very bad this week regarding Alex's condition for the scUm game.:paranoid:

Schafer has a week to prep. if needed. I think Bollman has taken his time in preping him re. coverage. ie... the sack in the 3rd... Overall Schafer did better than I expected & if needed, can learn RAPIDLY to pull for coverage if needed! (the reason Alex accrued so many Ill. motions early on..) Let's hope Alex is back & strong/healthy!! Otherwise, expect an unexpected wrinkle as in the elegent tight end solution last year! Big plus; LLLLoyd is far to team-assured to stunt tackles; he thinks they can take the bucks mano-a-mano no doubt! :oh: :io:

I have a feeling Datish would be the one moving from Center if it was going to be that way for the game next week since he has some more experience there

Everyone stop stressing. I feel confident Alex will be back for the Scum. Please lets stop assuming everything being thrown in except the kitchen sink. Lets assume Alex will be ready to go for the Scum and if we hear differently we can ponder all our different perspectives on how they may handle it.
