College sports has never had parity for that reason. The NFL will find talent anywhere, but they find a lot more of it at OSU, Bama, USC, Clemson, Oklahoma, etc

Of couse things happened back then, and I would be the last person to suggest otherwise, but it wasn't as completely shameless as it is now.

Uh yeah it was! You must not have been paying attention…
It’s not a coincidence why the same teams have dominated CFB. If you think the new millennium of CFB is more seamless than CFB in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, then you possibly didn’t pay attention to anything off of the field
