I helped my friend move out of his place in college. His roommate. . . didn't get much action.

We moved his roommate's bed and there was a sock behind it on the wall. It was literally this hard crusty sock glued to the wall due to so much, well, use.

Huh, that would actually be perfect to put in one of the boxes. Maybe I can make one, or I bet they sell them on Etsy.
