OJ Simpson (The Juice is Loose!)

Where are the lawyers, 'cause I've got a question. Is he doing this because he cannot be tried for this crime again, since he's been acquitted? And if that's the case, can't they use this confession to drum up other charges against him?

Wouldn't this confession constitute perjury? Is there a statute of limitations on perjury in California?

Double jeopardy is a beautiful thing. He's been tried and acquitted. Case closed.

He can only be convicted in the court of public opinion, and that happened a long time ago for most of us.

the statute of limitations in California for Perjury is 3 years I think....

Which was, if I remember correctly, about the time he signed that book deal to write about IF he did it, here's how it happened or whatever the title was going to be....

He's been tried and acquitted of double homicide....not of perjury. I wondered the same thing when I read the post.

I don't believe OJ ever actually took the stand under oath.

As for double jeopardy ... tell that to Stacey Koons.

I'll believe it when I see it. Why the hell would he do this?

Well, you can add that to "Why in the hell would a guy accused and tried for a bloody double murder write a book about how he (would have) done it?" Nothing about OJ or anything to do with him makes any sense.

OJ Simpson Busted for Stealing Cookies from Prison Cafeteria

oj-simpson.jpg

Oh how the mighty have fallen to shame! It is the one of the most tragic stories, but legendary NFL star OJ Simpson is back in the news for more wrong reasons. The Daily Mail has learned the OJ, who is currently serving a 33-year prison sentence for armed robbery, was busted by prison guards for stealing cookies from the prison chow line.

When questioned, OJ revealed that he had stolen over a dozen oatmeal cookies. Sources say that the other prisoners originally thought OJ had a cell phone or some other item that was absolutely forbidden behind bars, but when everyone saw that it was cookies, the whole cafeteria exploded with laughter.
