I was watching a bit on Flo from my phone. I caught the end of the Bouzakis/McCrone match. It looked like Bouzakis frustratingly ran off the mat without shaking McCrone’s hand, and McCrone looked befuddled. Anybody else catch that or know what happened there?
I'm sure he was/is frustrated. He's been working down to that match for months. De facto wrestle off and he lost.
He wrestled well today though down a weight.

I saw his path was through Anthony Knox, and he beat him. There were certainly some additional positives there, namely his ability to get down to 125. Let’s hope he doesn’t get too discouraged.
Making 125 right out of the gate and wrestling good enough to make the final only lose to McCrone had to hurt.
It may be B1G Tournament till we know who the starter is...

Looks like we had a pretty good tourney overall. Gotta say I'm surprised on McCrone over Bouzakis, @MPhillips do you think Bouzakis is having the initial fatigue of bumping down to 125? McCrone isn't chopped liver, but I'm a bit surprised at the result there.

Great to see Paddy, Fishback, and somewhat on Geog. With Rogotzke losing I shouldn't be too shocked, he's a big move guy and everyone in the OSU room knows it and would be better at defending against it. Feldman had a nice tourney as well.

Caught the replay on YouTube. The team looked solid. McCrone wrestled about how I would expect him to wrestle. Davino beasted his man as did Mendez. I am unfamiliar with the two that wrestled 149 and 157. The 157 lber had a tight cradle after being down in the match. Kharchla was a nice surprise. He dominated his opponent and it was good to see. Fishback wrestled well. Geog got off to a fast start then ran out of gas. Feldman toyed with his man. Other than the loss, I think there was all but one bonus win.

Side note, I’m looking forward to Nebraska. AJ Ferrari is wrestling heavyweight. I’m hoping the coaches on either team don’t play the seeding game and let them go at it.
