Coon leads Snyder 2-0 after one period.

Coon leads 3-0 after two periods. Snyder is bleeding, needing a big third period.

Damn, Coon is a monster. Bucks win the dual 18-15, but Snyder goes down 3-1. Snyder's first collegiate loss since 2015.

UM had OSU scouted well tonight. They took a lot of the OSU offense out of the matches. Not a lot of great shots and OSU just managed to break even from bottom. We were fortunate that Nate and Moore picked up bonus. Feel bad for Kyle. He was outta gas after the 1st period when he failed to get that takedown. Tonight hurts from a seeding perspective. We lost seeding position at 133, 157, 174 and 285.

You mean other than against Penn State the other night, right? Because my facebook feed was filled with Penn State fans talking oh so much shit on Snyder after that match. Surely it was because they beat him and not because they're all a bunch of dipshits.

Just like against Penn State, Ohio State got exposed for not quite being at the level yet we had hoped that they would be at, but Delaware nailed it. You actually have to tip your hat to UM. They have All-American candidates at every weight but one, and it looks like they really were ready for the Bucks. Micic and Coon obviously brought it big time. So did the two that beat the Jordans. The championships are in Cleveland this year, but the sense of Buckeye inevitability has faded of late.

We always seem to struggle in February for whatever reason but we will need everyone to really step it up at the conference championships or we are going to take it on the chin with our seeds at NCAA's. Felt like the only wrestlers to show up last night were NaTo, Hayes and Moore. Everyone else just looked uninspired to be honest. We need Pletcher and B. Jordan in the finals at the B1G and that probably is not going to happen if they drop to Micic and Amine again. But we've been through this year after year, just need to peak at the right time.

Nice win. Kollin losing the only surprise and McKenna is picking up steam heading into tournament time. Hoping Kollin can get that constant attack and swagger back. Also hoping Campbell can rest his leg for a day or two.

Read some things on Bo’s foot. At this point I am just thankful he is wrestling. That family has always been studs when it comes to wrestling.

WRESTLING: NO. 2 OHIO STATE NEUTRALIZES NC STATE, 29-6 IN FINAL DUAL OF THE YEAR

Ohio State started three seniors Sunday in the team's final dual meet of the season, and the seniors closed their dual-meet careers as Buckeyes in high style, scoring nearly half of the team's 29 points in a blowout victory.

Kyle Snyder, Nathan Tomasello and Bo Jordan will never again wrestle a dual meet as Buckeyes, and Sunday they proved why they're the backbone of Tom Ryan's lineup, scoring a tech fall, a decision over a top-five opponent, and a pin in a rout of No. 6 North Carolina State in Reynolds Coliseum.

Snyder, the defending Olympic, World and NCAA champion, put his patented takedown clinic versus No. 19 Michael Boykin, earning 10 takedowns in the 23-8 tech fall. After taking only a 2-0 lead into the second period, Snyder went to work, playing catch and release in his typical style, and easily handling Boykin and putting Ohio State up 8-3 just three matches into the meet.

Tomasello followed, facing a more daunting task in No. 5 Sean Fausz, a highly-regarded wrestler who showed early that he wasn't awed in the face of a former NCAA champion. Tomasello showed why he's lost so few regular season matches in his career, responding to Fausz' opening takedown with a takedown and 2-point nearfall of his own.

Although the 12-6 victory was only a decision, in terms of the team score, it was an excellent showing from the seasoned veteran, who is rounding into form at the most important time of the year.

Jordan, facing an unranked opponent in the final match of the night, decided that he'd end his senior dual season in high style, pinning Daniel Bullard just :97 seconds in the match, and sealing the Buckeye victory, 29-6.
