Yes, he's done an excellent job in stepping in for Chase and winning some big dual matches. Gas Tank Gary for the win!
My thoughts are that the meet was kind of a mixed bag. Our hammers all performed pretty well, with several close to tech falls... that includes Pletcher, Sasso, Smith and Moore. Romero had an excellent win over a very good opponent in Grello, he's on fire right now and if keeps coming along like this, he could get up on the podium for us and I was not expecting that coming into the year. And Gas Tank Gary gutted out yet another huge dual win, he's a fan favorite for a reason.
The bad? Rocky looked pretty bad in his 184 debut, hopefully he's just adjusting to the weight. Cleary still can't get a win at 157 and it's looking like we have no solutions at that weight unless Echemenia (spelling?) can somehow wrestle this year. Hate to say it, but Malik is just a bust at 125...need to recruit a top guy to fill this hole next year. Then Decatur looked polar opposite in a convincing loss...not too worried on him yet though, he's adjusting to the talent level and it's tough for a true freshman to come in at any weight and dominate. Decatur just needs to keep improving.
But we had a convincing win over an unbeaten ranked team, so overall pretty happy.

Thanks. Hopefully we'll get to okay. She had surgery Friday for the big C in her tatas (which are now nonexistent) and came home yesterday. So far the results are positive. We'll get the other pathology reports by next Friday. Appreciate all the prayers we can get.

Huge to get majors from Pletcher and Sasso. They both had really tough opponents and dominated. Gives us a chance at least. Love how aggressive Luke is wrestling this year.
