Ohio State Women's Basketball (2023-24 B1G CHAMPS)

Yes, but the key is that they’ve only gotten two attempts from beyond the arc in the second half.
I wonder if the basketball office got my email?

LOL, of course they didnt. I'll probably get an email from the faculty office haha. "Stop sending emails to coaches and faculty you fringe idiot." hahaha. Just wait until my PhD program starts and I have BuckID again. hee hee

Elsa playing the entire 4th quarter on 4 fouls is huge. If she is learning to be able to do that, she'll be able to stay in games vs other teams bigs hopefully. I want to see her get another shot vs UCLA later on and see if she is really coming into her own. That is the ultimate challenge this year for our bigs.

UCONN is a whole different animal.

Cheers @Jagdaddy please stick around this forum. Theres a few of us dedicated to the ladies teams and it's not easy getting eyes on these games.

Buckeyes follow up their huge top 10 victory with a smartly played second half and great conference win vs the Hoosiers. I'll take it. Need to get a group together and get over there in person to support the team when we can. Go Bucks!

Elsa can be really good when she’s aggressive, which needs to be more often, although tonight two bs fouls didn’t allow it.

Absolutely agree. We've been screaming for a Big to be aggressive and play stronger in the paint for years. It's our achilles heal so seeing her start to be very good and sometimes dominant in games, is seriously refreshing.

Really have to applaud the Lady Bucks for hanging tough, when down ten in the blink of an eye. Keeping up the good fight, certainly, but mainly just sticking to the game plan, and nibbling away at the lead. Currently a couple of Buckeyes are 'hot' and canning threes like there's no tomorrow. Makes the Buckeyes dangerous. Watching Elsa get better is a treat. Cannot say she's a backyard brawler yet, but she's not as timid in mixing it up under the basket. Her blocks to foul ratio is improving as well. Rejecting shots around the rim is a talent, and a valuable one. Playing with Kitts is also fun to watch, hope her shoulder just needs rest. Any way, the press seems to work more often than not (26 TOs by IU!) shows it. Still not to the bar of Jacy and Celeste, but getting there. Being down 10, and winning by 14 is a 24 point swing! and is HUGE. Keep the ball rolling. In the FWIW category, Hobbs is looking askance from the bench. Am hoping she gets some meaningful minutes so that she sticks around. Having Elsa play with four fouls is commendable, but putting Hobbs in the game to give Elsa a blow will be vital against the Uconn, SCs, Texas, etc in the Dance.
