Ohio State Women's Basketball (2023-24 B1G CHAMPS)

Cotie and Jacy have combined to score 1 point in the first half at Purdue yet the Bucks lead 33-27.

Mika is leading the way with 9 points. I'm guessing she'll get more help in the second half.

Bucks lead 53-46 after three quarters. Mika continues to lead the way with 15 points. No one else has more than 8.

Just finish strong and get out of there.

Hope I never have to listen to those announcers again, especially the Aussie. At one point he mentioned he had a boxing background. It sounded like he had taken a few too many blows to the head. Possibly even double digit concussions.

On the plus side, the ladies didn't have their best game but still came up with a W on the road. I normally don't mention the zebras, but the foul calls seemed a little inconsistent. The way we were pounding the ball inside I felt we should have gotten a few more foul calls. On a charge by Taylor the defender was still moving her body in front of Celeste when contact was made. I will give Purdue a lot of credit, every time we got up 5-8 points they responded to keep it close. But the most important part was the road W, and the ladies secured it.

Thinking the same thing Bestbuck. Like nothing more than pissing off those teams. Also note that Uconn, is down below tOSU. Still keep the Uconn v tOSU on 'save' mode, and just watched it last week (again). Winning on the road in B10 is hard, and haven't really seen a rout, although the women's BB standings are devoid of B10 other than Iowa, Indiana and tOSU. Can't count UCLA and USC until next year.

Agree about the announcing. Most all of the women's announcers (Peacock as well), are more intent in providing 'color' to the game, instead of informing the audience what they're seeing (why the whistle blew, injuries, etc), by talking about their hey-days et cetera. Looks like they're looking at each other instead of the court. If that continues, I'm gonna emplore the NCAA to make the players raise their arm when they get called for the foul. When did we ever get away from that anyway?
