My rebuttal to this is that Illinois wasn't the first team Wisconsin struggled against. NW beats them if they don't give up two defensive scores.
Wisconsin played 5 home games in a row. Illinois was their first conference road game. Now to make matters even better for us is the fact on the road at USF and Illinois is nothing like the Shoe. Coan will be in his first true hostile environment.
Jonathan Taylor has had fumble problems. People think rain will hurt us but IMO it hurts them worse. Their kicking game is atrocious and JT better hold onto the rock. How will Coan fair in rain in this environment.
If this was in Madison Is be more nervous. I think Sconsins got everything to lose in this game. The pressure is on them.
I question Paul Chryst's playcalling in big games. He made terrible decisions Saturday. Last year against Meshitagain JT was gashing Meshitagain and then he went to the pass and they got drilled. The guy isn't a big game coach IMO.
