Game Thread Ohio State vs Penn State - 11/23/19, 12:00PM (FOX)

Most PSU fans are saying that they fully expect their team to lose this Saturday. Some of the reasons are:
OSU is at home
OSU is well rested and PSU is not
OSU has better coaches
OSU has better players
No way can their back seven guard our receivers
Chase Young is back
Both Hamler and Cain might sit out

I tend to agree.

Well those reasons are good enough for me. PSU pops up and gives us issues when we have to deal with the whole white out shit, but I think we roll at home during a noon game. Everyone is saying this will be the toughest test yet, but I'm not sure PSU is any better than Wisky and hopefully we don't have the weather that we had in that game. Either way, I think we are going be ready for this one and win by 21+.

The really good news is that last time it rained, against the badgers I think (?), receivers dropped a lot of passes. That means that this time, they will know to put a lot more focus on catching the ball. I assume that Hartline will start working with footballs soaked in buckets of slimy Nittany Lion grease.

Not sure if Cain sitting out will hurt them all that much, aside from a depth perspective. He's played in eight games (missed the last two), started one (MSU, the last game he played), and averages less than nine carries and under 44 yards per game. However, Hamler not playing will definitely hurt them...

Its Thursday and Ped St still not a rival. Not worried about rain as the team settled in fine during the last downpour and Day stayed aggressive offensively. That said. Fuck St Penn, bunch of cock whore horses asses.

Self call: OK Boomer (actually, I'm not a "boomer." I'm a radio baby, the group in between the Depression kids and the boomers.) whyTF is this game on at 12? Why does the Big Ten think this is cool? I think someone posted that ratings are better at the noon slot, but I'm still old school enough to believe that 12 is way too soon for a large segment of the market. WhoTF on the west coast is getting up at 9 to watch a college game? No highly impressionable, re-cruitable kid that I know of.

Maybe, like me, everyone west of South Bend sets the Tivo and sleeps in and then does the game in half the required time.

So Boomer me up to speed. In the mean time; this sucks and get off my lawn.

First, I'd avoid using the words "Boomer" and "me" in the same sentence. It evokes an image of those defense challenged, wagon tipping fucks out West.

No advice about the time slot though. It was weird to watch games so early when we were in LA for the Rose Bowl so I get it.

Ha. Surgery was 11/22...got pushed to 1/10. Just a minor thing that he's lived 4 years with, but he's got a cold so they don't want coughing to mess with stitches. Plus, what 4 year old wants to deal with a cold and surgery recovery.

You might need to reschedule it again:

January 13, 2020

The 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship will be played at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on January 13, 2020.

Especially if we've never lost when you're in the stadium.

In all seriousness, best of luck with your son. I hope everything turns out okay and he's eating jello watching that game on the road to recovery.
