Game Thread Ohio State vs Oklahoma, 09/09/17 @ 7:30 ET (ABC)

And too fragile. One good hit and it's lights out! Too bad the Buckeyes hardly ever got close.
Mayfield is too emotional and out of control to win a NC
So was Tebow too emotional? Did it seem like Mayfield is "out of control" on the field? 400 yards, 3TD's, no INT's in one of the toughest environments in football. Seems pretty poised and in control to me.

He looked like a completely different guy. I was waiting and hoping for a panicked terrible throw under pressure, but man was he composed under pressure. Very impressive tonight.

Congrats @RCSooner1974 . That offense was what concerned many of us. It honestly played out a bit like I expected, I just thought OSU could get away with their basic offense and control the ground enough to get away with it. Your guys did a great job taking that away.

Really impressed with Baker. He made a lot of plays after the pressure arrived, and he was getting crushed early on.

Very impressed with your specimens at TE & RB. Hope Andrews is ok. Not very impressed with Badet, but he made a lot of plays on scramble drills and he fought through some pretty big early blunders.
Thanks, but you don't have to congratulate me! I'm just a fan, not a member of the OU football team.

Gotta give respect to Sermon too (Number 4) came up huge for us especially in the 2nd half. Adams fumbled and never saw the field again. Sermon played like a seasoned vet.

Definitely solid. Numbers aren't jaw-dropping, but OSU was selling out on the run, which left those gaping holes where the LBs should have been, so I wouldn't expect him to have huge numbers as a result. For a freshman? Yeah, that was good.

To be fair, last year was the worst game of his career. As a sooners fan I'm used to seeing what he did tonight

Yeah.....I had him in my fantasy team last year, so I followed him pretty closely. He was good, but not THIS good. That was an excellent performance. I still can't stand looking at him in the sidelines.....his face pisses me off.
