We're supposed to be at this stage. We played above our level in 14 and cashed in, but this team should be able to run a competent offense at this point. I can watch teams with lesser talent run an offense 10x better than this. This is a fucking crime against footbaill.

Is what it is. I'm too old and tired at this point to piss into the wind. Delicately I'll say that I hope position changeovers next season will cure what ails us. If it doesn't, then the common denominator from the last few seasons isn't the issue and that would truly be bad news.

This is still going to be a great season with a lot of great highs, but we're not at a Bama/OU/Clemson level, clearly.

Look, I've been one of the biggest Barrett supporters on this site, but how many open receivers has he missed tonight? How many times has he held on to the ball too long? He's not alone, but he is a huge liability right now. We can argue chicken or the egg with JT vs. the WRs, but he has made some egregious errors tonight, and they're things he's had issues with often in the past. He's in his fifth year, he's past the "getting better" phase. He is what he is.

I doubt he benches JT. I think he should bench him next week since the Army D is probably what a young QB like Haskins needs to get going.

There is zero chance he benches Barrett for any reason short of injury at this point. He could literally throw every pass off of the Center's ass and still get the start.

Can't expect to win games by throwing under 100 yards. Sure our WR sucks too but JT has made plenty of bad reads tonight. He's not a good QB.
