To me, this is the problem with Meyer's offense when you take away the QB run. He and his OCs don't know how to call a consistent game because the QB run is always the security blanket. And when the offense inevitably starts struggling he immediately goes in a shell and just hopes he doesn't loose the game.

While I agree with this, the offense has only had four drives today and has scored on three of them. They've played well. Defense not being able to get off the field is the bigger culprit today.

standard pass: look downfield then throw to receiver as close to the line of scrimmage as possible.
