I’ve done it. As recently as two years ago at my MIL’s second marriage... Spent the afternoon in the bar area. Zero remorse. That said, she wasn’t considerate enough to have assigned seating for her family at the reception so after family pictures after the wedding there wasn’t any place for us to sit together. I figured I was doing her a favor.

My second wedding was scheduled on the day of THE GAME by my former fiance' after I specifically stated that was the only day in the last 3 months to not have it.

Turns out there was no second wedding and I was in the Shoe that day watching the Buckeyes win. No regrets.
