Game Thread Ohio State vs Miami OH - 09/21/19, 3:30PM (BTN)

He's been nothing short of amazing in 4 straight starts.
Fields has been very short of "amazing". He's been good overall, amazing at times, lost at times, with a lot of one-read passes, all against garbage competition.

Fields needs to get much better to beat Wisconsin, Michigan State, Penn State and take this team to the playoffs. Still time, work in progress, etc., but he's not there yet.

Well, thankfully tsun didn’t give Wisky any competition with witch to get better. Likely the same for Sparty and Ped. So, in some ways, they’re helping us.

We could absolutely beat Penn State and Michigan State as we are. Right now.

My one criticism of Fields this game is wanting to hold back on running too much. When it’s there and you’re not finding anyone, commit to it before it becomes too obvious that’s your only option.
In these types of games, I don't mind because we should minimize hits on Fields and we should be able to beat teams like this without his legs. Against the Wisconsin's of the world? Absolutely.
