So MSU and PED have to lose a game each to two horrible teams each that they play. If we beat Illinois it's basically over.

Also per UFM's presser- He agreed that Worley was better at OLB then MLB and they're having conversations regarding keeping Borland at MLB. If this happens IMO that's huge because to me there was such a difference with our LB play and I think that is a result of having someone like Worely man a spot he is suited for.

Need to come out peddle to the metal in this game and not let Illinois lurk around like Wisconsin did (24-10)

Defense should be able to dominate, Illinois is 124th in the country in total offense and scoring offense

QBs are a turnover factory. 8 TD to 17 INT on the season. Running game only averages 3.3 YPC

That's hard to do. You're almost trying at that point.

The encouraging thing with last Saturdays victory is that we found our identity in all phases of the game. Offense, Defense, Special teams, and perhaps most importantly, Coaching. This is the recipe for success. We may have also found the answer with some personnel issues on D. Having Tuf in the middle is paramount to our success. Rotate the other guys on the outside but Tuf has to start at MLB and play the bulk of the game or until it is well out of hand. The DL and the DB's are playing stellar right now aside from the Iowa brain fart.

On Offense we finally found the run game. If we stick to it we should breeze to the BIG Championship game and we should be able to beat a 4 or 5 ranked Wisconsin team which could actually catapult us into the playoffs depending on some key losses here and there.

But for now...Beat Illinois!!

Of course there’s some twat waffle scum fan posting his nonsense during the press conference. You would think winning nothing for 20 years would render a bit of humility but not sub human scum fan...

I really like drubbing teams like MSU because it feels good. But when you win a nail biter like last year in The Game...hell yes the heartache and butt hurt from these fools will last a long, long time. On second thought, I hope Urb goes for two up big late just to piss on their senior day.
