Yes I want to see the new offensive weapons but man I want to see a return of the bullets hopefully. Want to see that sooooo bad.

Same... I'd love to see FAU held under 100 rushing, no big runs, and under 10 points.

But in today's game I understand that's a tall order to ask

Honestly just no big hitters... I'll be disappointed if we give up a big play like last years bunch.

I get the changing landscape of today’s game and offensive advantages, everyone scores more, blah, blah, blah.

But, having said that, you still have players out on the field that match up to each other athletically and tOSU should have a clear advantage and oppose their will. It’s FAU for fucks sake.

Personally I wanted Bowen. We could use the experience and I'd think Bowen is a little stronger than NPF.

I'm laying the -27 and laughing. Like Lane Kiffen said they were up by 50 on em and our defense is going to be vastly improved.

Two interesting things about that press release for the game:

1) No 2-Deep
2) They cite themselves as 116th in Red Zone Offense for last season. Technically, the NCAA has them at 115th, but if you include reclassifying Liberty in the rankings (the NCAA doesn't), then the Buckeyes are indeed 116th.

My prediction? Somehow we will be disappointed.

Like him or not, Kifflin is a good coach. OSU *should* dominate the game. But somehow, some way they manage to make it closer than it should be.

I really want to see the defense impose its will on FAU. Last year's defense looked confused and that confusion led to being out of place and/or a step slow in getting to where they needed to be.

If they can impose their will, tackle well and maybe force a turnover or 3 I'll feel a lot better about this season's prospects.

My prediction? Somehow we will be disappointed.

Between the on field performance of the unit and the OL recruiting, there have been people calling for Coach Stud's job as recently as two months ago.

Now we're in game week and OSU is eight deep on the OL and this could be the best/deepest O Line in at least 10 or 15 years.

Those two statements are incongruous.
