Crazy how many WRs were in there today. It seemed like just a couple years ago we only had a couple guys that could catch. Now we have a whole bench full of them. LOL! I counted Clark, Dixon, McLaurin, Smith, Hill, Dontre, Cambell, Samuel, Brown...who am I missing that got reps??

Thought/ was hoping we'd see some Antonio Williams in the backfield today. If Weber got hurt we'd be in trouble at running back. McCall looks electric but also pretty small. Doubt he is a full time back. Samuel could probably do it but he's so explosive in space it's nice to have him play both back and H. Williams is really the only other true back we have so it'd be nice to get him some reps.

An unexpected offensive output. But JT's passing scares me right now.

The defense looks better than I expected. 3 points? Secondary had a lot of tight coverage today!
If the other team has trouble scoring you will win a lot of games.

Mack was in on several snaps, and he got a glare from urban. Might of ran the wrong route, or didn't break on the throw.

I'm trying to keep things in perspective. This was a good MAC team, but Good Lord, has Ohio State ever had this many offensive weapons? Incredible - especially for a first game performance. These guys are hungry. Let's hope they stay that way.

Other unique things I'm sure no one else saw:

Malik Hooker is a freak.

Nick Bosa reminds me of someone but it won't come to my mind.:biggrin:

We are going to miss Grown and Sexy. The one place Ohio State was thin and didn't need an injury was DT. The young pups will have to bite now.

Urban said in his last few pressers that he was happy with the talent, where they were mentally and with the development of the team.

That's all I needed to hear.

Didn't expect 77-10 obviously but I was looking for this team to come out and explode on someone.

I am incredibly optimistic, not because of what we saw today but because it's validation of what we have been hearing, that this may be Urbans favorite kind of team. Talented, deep and hungry.

Congrats to the nine true freshmen (McCall, Mack, Jordan, Cooper, Bosa, K. Jones, Harrison, Burns and Fuller) and 17 redshirt freshmen that debuted today!

Stump and Feder are the two '15 recruits with a DNP. Both were in street clothes, hopefully nothing too serious.

The stat book has Wohlabaugh participating, but I believe Taylor finished the game at C. Jack did dress, so it's possible I missed him.
