Ohio State vs #14 Wisconsin (official game thread)

I don't think we are going to get a full house for this one...Probably around 16-17 thousand...Hopefully they are load...

As for the game, They are going to own us inside...I think we have the better wing play, so if we can hit some shots there is a chance we could win this, but we have to try and maintain the boards the best we can in this one, or it could get ugly...

You would think that the Athletic Department/Administration would do something about the PSL holders that do not show up for the games. If they would know in advance may be some type of ticket exchange would work. I know it is all about the money but you would also think that some thought would be given to the basketball program but I have also heard that the student section is not completely filled at certain games and that certainly is a disappointment.

I think after yesterday with a week of rest and preparation that our guys will be ready to play and while rebounding is a concern sometimes their big guys are out on the perimeter in that "swing offense". I think we match up with them very well and that we will come out with a victory.

Yes, let's look forward. Contrary to popular misconception the season didn't end yesterday, no matter the disappointment.

Some big games remain and how we do in them will determine the fate of our season. Do we bounce back with some big home wins over the elites of the conference, or does it become a downward spiral? If we finish strong the NCAA may still come calling but we have to notch some wins over good teams down the stretch.

I think a week off right now is just what the doctor ordered and we should see an inspired effort come Sunday. :osu:

I really think all in all it is hard to fill a 19500 arena, especially when a team is struggling...

Students at times have shit to do, homework etc. They could solve the problem of the empty seats by making it first come first serve, and once they fill, send the rest to the upper deck student section...

As for the PSLs, they honeslty get pissed if they watch on tv and see other people in their seats, by someone that moved down or over etc...They scuff at people that ask them for their seats for games when they see they aren't showing up...

All in all we are going to need to keep putting winning season together and the Schott will continue to improve...It has it moments of ups and downs, much like this years team...:tongue2:

Poor excuse for the students. I used to be one and if they don't like sports why buy the ticket. You can always find time to study if you want to study. I am not talking about you but students in general.

First come, first serve would be a great idea but does the Athletic Administration have the courage to do something like that.

Yeah, I know the PSL Dilbert's. If they can't be in their seat nobody can be in it.

Yeah it sounds like a poor excuse, but at times classes have midterms at night, classes at night, projects, etc. Lots of things scheduled at night during the week due to that being the time when most are free...

Of course you get students that aren't crazy about bball, go because their friends wanted them to get tickets, want to try and sell some tickets, etc...

And as it has been proven many times this season, it is very, very difficult to win on the road. It would be far less amazing for this Buckeye team to win on Sunday than it was for Penn State to beat MSU or for any of the other major upsets to have occurred. Wake Forest-Duke, Kansas State-Kansas...the list goes on and on. If you can't handle a little suspense, if you're only interested in a team that dominates, then go be a 'Heels fan. Or don't watch college basketball at all, more likely.

Give this team some credit and stop lamenting the loss of last year's players. And if you simply must, you may want to give just a little bit of credit to Harris and Lewis, who were equally responsible for the amazing gift of a tournament run that they gave us fans.

Agree with everything you said...Just a matter of us playing a solid game on both ends of the court...

And for the last thing, it has been 5 guys playing professional for me all year...
