I get it, the players are the ones ultimately responsible, but that hold of Sheff was plain as fucking day and was the difference between the runner getting tackled/pushed out and the TD. That gets called or he isn't held, no TD. I think most of the long runs were the result of piss poor defense, but that one was plain as day a terribly obvious hold to spring it at the last level. Totally fine saying he shouldn't have gotten that far, but it was a piss poor missed call. Not every complaint on the refs is an excuse, man.

Great TD, time to get another 3 and out.

The deficiencies are still pretty obvious. Doesn’t change my stance. If the Committee feels we belong as one of the Top 4 (unlikely), cool. If not, I’m just as (if not more, considering it keeps scUM out of the Rose Bowl) stoked.
