New Ohio State University logo unveiled.... HATE IT!

I really just need a place to sound off on this. I just found out about the new logo last night, and I have been reading everyone's comments on facebook non-stop about it, I just thought that I would head on over here to where there are some true Buckeyes fans to see what everybody else thinks. This isn't probable, because it was reported they already voted, but could Ohio State be floating the new athletic logo out to gauge reaction?

It seems like reaction is generally bad at this point, so is turning back even in the cards?

If they polled alumni, where these alumni of Ohio State?

Seriously, how did this get past anyone? I may run it past some of the design people at work (I have a feeling they'll spit out their coffee laughing) when I'm at the office complex next time just to see the reaction. You'd have to be 100% blind to not see how horrible it is.

That one's different. Not bad, but not quite suited for athletics in my IMO. Plus, no gray.
