The new athletic logo is a complete [censored]ing abortion. It was almost as though they were too lazy to actually come up with something original and too stupid to change the existing one in a positive manner.

As for the seal, I don't hate the new one, but why change the original. It was good enough for just under a century and a half; it's good enough for the next century and a half.

Nobody has brought this up, but I dig its style. I'd streamline it a bit though. Use a sleeker, cleaner font. Go for that whole Jetsons-Eames-Draper-Sinatra mid-century thing.
